Craftsman Not So Big House

Craftsman Not So Big® Inspired LEED Platinum Remodel

Architectural Resource has transformed an archetype from another era into an icon of future homes.  This whole house remodel was designed to address some key elements of the new era of housing: energy efficiency, low maintenance, high durability, healthy indoor-air quality, and smaller but better designed homes.  Inspired by Sarah Susanka's Not So Big House philosophy the project showcases numerous design approaches that help make a smaller space live "large" without being large.

This project will be home number 3, one of 6 super green energy efficient homes featured on this year's Mission Zero Fest.   This is an annual event showcasing solutions, educational opportunities, workshops and demos designed to inspire and educate all of us towards a greener, more fulfilling lifestyle in our homes.  For additional information go to www.missionzerofest.org.
